Miwa

Miwa grew up in Japan learning that she loved to make hair beautiful.  She decided to pursue the art of hair as a dream and she was accepted for an apprenticeship at one of the top salons in Osaka where she was recognized for her talent. Her adventurous spirit brought her to America, where she worked at salons like Louis Licari in New York. Miwa then came to California  where she worked for Estetica, Nelson j Salon in Beverly Hills, and now  Paint Shop where she is excited about it's fusion of beauty services.  Over all, Miwa has over 20 years of experience as a hair dresser, and still holds a great love for bringing out the beauty in others. She has received rave reviews in such outlets as the New York Times, and CitySearch for her expertise with hair.  A greater amount of the praise has been for her ability with the well recognized Japanese hair straightening system.   Miwa loves to learn all about new techniques and innovations in hair styling.    At Paint Shop, she wants to continue to provide the best service in Japanese hair straightening, Brazilian blow out, color, hair cuts, extensions, and up dos for events. Domingo

Domingo is a native of Seattle, but he has spent the last 20+ years in Los Angeles, so he now considers L.A. home. 

He started his career as a barber before going on beauty school.  His advanced training has included Vidal Sassoon and Toni & Guy seminars.  In addition, he was the Artistic Director at Juan Juan Salon of Beverly Hills, and  was part of the team at Estetica and Nelson J., also in Beverly Hills. 

Domingo opened Paint Shop Beverly Hills Nail Salon in 1999,  for his wife,  so she would get out of his hair.  (That’s a joke). Actually, they both worked together on the concept, and she managed Paint Shop while he continued to work in Beverly Hills.  There, he built a loyal clientele and  tosseled the tresses of Olivia Newton-John, Minnie Driver, Susan Dey and Susie Blakely.  After 10 years, he  decided he  could be in the same room with his wife on a more full time basis. (Another joke).  So Domingo came up with the idea to create a new salon which in not all about hair, not all about nails, but a hybrid, a marriage of the  best of both worlds, where people know they have found the perfect fit.

Shanice

Unlike many hairdressers who are inspired by fashion trends or family members, Shanice completely stumbled upon the the world of hair color by accident.  While taking a break from school, she was unsure if she would follow her original plan on entering the medical field.  During that time, she visited a friend who was attending beauty school and she discovered a passion and creativity for styling hair. Needless to say, the visit was a life changing experience.

Shanice began her career at at Juan Juan Salon, where she apprenticed under the talented and renowned Beverly Hills colorist, Jonathan Gale.  She has worked for 17 years at salons in Beverly Hills
including Juan Juan, Cristophe and Joseph Martin.  Her celebrity roster includes Sandra Bullock, Minnie Driver and Olivia Newton-John.  In addition she has been featured on the Leeza Gibbons Show and E!

Shanice specializes in haircoloring and is very knowledgeable in all color procedures, but her forte is highlighting.  She has an ability and gift to enhance all hair color with beautiful highlights. Whether it’s a natural as sunkissed highlights, or funky and dramatic to go with every haircut, Shanice can do it all.

Kacey T.

At a young age, Kacey T. knew she was headed on a path to make people feel more beautiful. A native of Los Angeles, she grew up in Beverly Hills where she was surrounded by glamourous people that valued style and beauty.

After attending Cosmetology school, she was mentored by a graduate of the Vidal Sassoon Academy as well as other talented stylists to perfect her technique. Kacey specializes in healthy hair, precision cuts and custom color formulations, and works well with all hair types and textures.

Kacey T. customizes a conditioning cocktail formulated specifically for the client's hair needs. Styling choices are unlimited. Hair styling services include relaxers, press & curl, blow-dry, scissor cuts, clipper cuts, braids and creative up-do's.
